The single most common misuse or lack of maintenance on stitcher heads is not lubricating the stitcher head. Everyone knows that when a stitcher head is lubricated too much the excess lubricant will work its way through the head and onto the material being stitched. Although aggravating it is vital to the mechanical moving parts in the head that they be lubricated.

A light weight machine oil or #10W oil works well, but always refer to the actual operating manual that came with the stitcher. For your convenience we have PDF files on the website to download and refer to for maintenance and parts.
